Inferno, an American returns to N.Y. from school in Rome to examine the hideous death of his sibling, and finds "sinister moms" wreaking paranormal confusion on both sides of Atlantic. Surreal, mesmerizing shocker by Italian terror maestro Argento doesn't make much sense, but it has a lot of style. Cast includes Leigh McCloskey, Irene Marvel, Sacha Pitoeff, Daria Nicolodi, Eleonora Giorgi, Veronica Lazar, and Alida Valli.

The film Rampage is about an expectant Long Island housewife, not able to contend with married life escapes her husband and picks up a simple minded football player on the street. Cast includes Michael Biehn, AIex McArthur, Robert Duvall, Marya Zimmet, Tom Aldredge, and Laurie Crewes.

For Love of Ivy is a fun little flick about a family that wishes to keep their servant, so they find her a guy to keep her content. The movie is a ho-hum black romance at best. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Abbey Lincoln, Guy Bridges, Leon Bibb, Nan, Martin, Lauri Peters, and Carroll O'Connor.

True, The General Died at Dawn is a fine play of Oriental intrigue, with mercenary Cooper falling in love with foreign agent Carroll when combating threatening warlord Tamiroff. Cast Gary Cooper, Madeleine Carroll, Akim Tamiroff, Dudley Digges, Porter Chamber, and William Frawley.

Afurika Monogatari is about Guide Sayer that crashes his plane in the wilds of Africa and finds a game preserve. Even old Jimmy is monotonous. The film was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba.
