Bull Strength Conditioning was authored by our friend Joe Hashey, CSCS. We explained to Joe a while back that folks are so sick and tired of dull conventional cardio as it just does not produce the fat-consuming results which they are looking out for.
For those following our Lean Hybrid Muscle programme you know that goal is to create muscle while burning up fat in the same coaching cycle. In case you're new here let me just remind you that this is realized by mixing strength building, muscle growth and compound cardio exercises into our programming.
Hybrid cardiovascular is anything that combines cardiovascular with weight lifting into the same workout or even the same exercise so as to build the type III muscle fiber.
Having more mitochondria in the muscle cells suggests that more nutrient elements can be processed, giving the muscles the power to work significantly tougher for longer periods. They are also able to grow bigger and may be able to resist getting beat for longer periods.
Joe has been a gigantic fan of Hybrid Muscle Training. He has spent the last couple of months changing and developing a book full of hybrid cardio circuits and exercises for us!
What Do You Mean by Plug-in for Lean Compound?
Okay Joe's eBook has 27 compound cardio circuits or complexes. If you're on the Lean Composite Muscle program you need to use any of these 27 circuits on your hybrid cardio days.
Plenty of you have been emailing Elliott & I asking if there are any other exercises that you can do to replace the ones that are in your workout templates. Well that's where Joe stepped up and created these sick-ass exercises and circuits for you. All of them involve resistance and cardiovascular in the same exercise and you can swap out any of these exercises for exercises in the Lean Composite Muscle program.
You can tell Joe is a genuine strength coach. The data in the book, the exercises and the exercise programmes all get an A+. The one thing that could use some improvement is the layout or graphics. Perhaps some videos of the exercises would be cool too. But graphics and fancy stuff like that doesn't really count at all when it comes to how good the data is so I wouldn't fret about it. Joe spends his time making sure his circuits are top-notch and not pointlessly spending time on fancy backgrounds, borders, and stuff like that.
