The Secret of the Nagas, written by the Indian author Amish, is the 2nd part in the hit Shiva Trilogy series that came out last year. The Immortals of Meluha was the 1st part of the series which became an instant success when it was released in 2010. The author is now back with a second offering of the same series, due to be released in August and will hope for a repeat of the same success.
The Secret of the Nagas takes off from where the first part ended with mystical Naga warrior abducting the princess Sati and killing Shiva's friend. This forms the major crux of the story and the story will revolve around Shiva rescuing his love, avenging his friend's death and more importantly, finding out about the secret of the nagas.

Also, we will hope to see Shiva in a newer and stronger light as he continues his journey towards becoming the Mahadev or the lord of lords. We will bear witness to the turmoil within Shiva as he attempts to fight the demons in his mind and come to terms with the destiny chosen for him.
Amish will try and do a lot of promotional activity before the launch of his new book just like he did the last time around. People online are already appreciating the cover of this book and this has already made the book gather some momentum. And like the last time, Amish will try and come out with another trailer film to boost the publicity around his latest release.
The last book did receive some complaints regarding the language and many critics hit out at him saying the language was too flashy. I'm sure Amish will have done his best this time around to impress even the harshest of critics. The storyline is expected to be as detailed as before with newer characters being introduced in The Secret of the Nagas.

The second one of the trilogy, this book continues to excel. The secret of the Nagas is also a page turner like the first one. But, blunders started to come in, as author glorifies the technological growth at the time of the story. Have to say that, some assumptions/imaginations the author have put in is too wild to even read in a fiction book. LIke - scientiests know how to work nuclear fusion and fission, but don't know about the metal Iron ...
